So nervous....

I am a nervous wreck this morning.  I really can't bring myself to create a ticker yet.  I think I will wait awhile for that...I know that is weird but I'm scared.  Anyway, I just needed to express my nervousness to you guys..lol!

For those that missed it...check out my blog.

Re: So nervous....

  • It's perfectly normal to be scared.  I didn't have the same situation as you ( I had a chemical pg at about 4-5 weeks), but when I got pg again, I was terrified.  It's normal because we have experienced a loss and we know that not all pg's are text book.  I'm sure your doctor will draw a series of betas and a few early u/s.  That is what helped me, seeing those numbers rise and the baby growing.  I would advise that you ask your doctor to wait until at least 6 or 7 weeks to do an u/s - I had mine at 5 weeks, 1 day and didn't see anything.  So I was freaking out for the next week.  At the next u/s, we saw the hb and I felt much better.  I promise, you'll get to the point where you can start enjoying it and quit being scared.  But know that it is not weird at all to be scared.

  • I hope times flies until you are at the point where you feel more comfortable and confident.  I know that it seemed time was dragging until I got there.  I still worry that something will happen but not as much I did in the beginning.  I was so superstitious that I didn't create a ticker until after 12 wks.  Silly, I know.  I'm thinking of you and hoping your good news will continue!!!

Ditto, this was my experience exactly (except I had an ectopic and got pregnant again before the doctor "approved" trying).  Congratulations!  We will be here for you, and here's to hoping the next few weeks fly by!  Seeing the numbers and being so closely watched by the doctor will really make you feel better.

  • Lesli, I'm so excited for you!!  Congrats!!  I am wishing you the best this time.  Positive thoughts and lots of sticky dust!!!!

  • Just wanted to say congrats again Lesli! I'm so happy for you, and I think what you are feeling is probably very normal, especially after a loss. I hope that this can be a H&H pregnancy for you! : )

    We're always here for you!?

  • OMG, so excited for you, I thought of you this morning and just thought that this was going to be the one for you. I think its normal to be nervous but I wish you happy and healthy 9 months.

  • I just wanted to say congratulations again, and know that we're here for you.
  • OMG !!! Congrats :)

I know exactly how you feel, its totally normal.  I was nervous the first few weeks I was pregnant with Connor but it does get easier.  Hopefully the dr will get you in soon so you can see that everything is ok.  Center for Womens Health was really understanding with me and did early bloodwork and an early u/s.

  • I read this yesterday but was unable to respond...I was so excited for you.  I wish you the best of luck and a H&H 9 months!
  • AHHH!!!  I missed it!!  Congratulations!!  Now this is just freakish, you really were my cycle twin.

I feel you COMPLETELY.  And I have plans to beg the doctor for betas ASAP, just as some way to try to make me feel better.  I wasn't nearly as emotional, and I have no desire to tell people this time around.  I'm too scared.

However, we've been through enough! We are going to have happy healthy babies and laugh at ourselves in about 3 months for being so scared.  :)
