Spotting

Hi Everyone. So I had some brown spotting for about 9 days a couple weeks ago. The doctor said not to worry. Well today it is back. I also have light cramping and when I went to the bathroom, there was pink on the toilet paper. I called my doctor and am waiting for a return call. Does anyone know what they normally do when they see you for this? Is it just an ultrasound or do they do an exam too? TIA.

i had very minimal spotting but it made me so upset that they did an ultrasound. but they think it was too early to see anything, bc all they saw was the sac.  Try not to worry. Alot of people spot all throughout their pregnancy. But they most likely will do an ultrasound to make sure everything looks good, and they will also do bloodwork to make sure your HCG levels are still rising.

I've had the same thing and called the OB this AM to check and they said its fine... as long as its not red with very heavy cramping you are fine.

Most likely its your ligaments, muscles etc stretching causing the cramping and the spotting could be from intercourse, the baby moving around, organs moving around or you might have a sensitive lining like me. When I had my Pap done she said she barely touched my lining and it bled.
