XP - duocal and benecalorie

My DS was an IUGR preemie and is still 3%tile.  I was doing some research on calorie increase and came accross duocal and benecalorie.  Is anybody using them for their kids?  What are they like?  Did you or your ped suggest them?  Does your insurance cover them? He's not FTT but is just super small and didn't qualify for synagis this winter and I'd really love for him to have some cushion (literally and figurately) in case he gets sick this winter.  TIA!

    DS is on duocal and he is slowly gaining with it, he's been on it for 2 months and gained 1.5lbs with it so far. He is FTT and also has a feeding tube due to his poor weight gain. His GI and nurtionsist put him on it.
