My daycare lady tried to give a warm bottle to Rilee to get her to eat more and it didn't work. They get room temp bottles at daycare too. Maybe see if they will keep the bottles at room temp for your DC so you won't have to deal with it if does cause an issue.
I'm sorry, I should have said we use the powder formula and the water is room temp. The powder gets added only when the girls need a bottle and any extra after they eat is trashed.
His bottles at day care are very warm but usually room temp at home. We use warm running water to take the chill off of cold bottles but not to really warm. He hasn't had any problems.
Re: warm bottle at daycare, room temp at home- problems?
Could you warm them up at home, too?
DD drinks them straight out of the fridge now, but at your DC's age she couldn't tolerate that - we warmed them up here, too.
