Nurses appointment

Do any of your dr's do this before the first appointment? I have mine tomorrow. It kind of threw me off guard lol. With my son my ob then didn't do nurses appointments. But that was a lot small of a practice too.

But yay for my first appointment.

    My office did.  She went over our family histories and gave us a bunch of literature.  Took blood, urine, weight, and bp.  That was about it, but it did take a little longer than usual maybe an hour or so.

    My first appt with my last pg (m/c'd pg) was with a NP.  This was with a different doc also than I have now.  He had just taken on the NP was having her do all the 1st appts (history, etc)

    It seems so far every other appt I have is with the NP. So the first one with the NP, then the doc. Then NP, and tomorrow will be doc again. I think it's normal.
