My husband's family is sweet - his aunts want to throw me a virtual baby shower... They asked me to pick a big ticket item so they could chip in... I didn't want to ask them for the baby's furniture set because my DH and I are buying the IKEA Leksvik deal... (We were going with JCPenney, but I have since been convinced otherwise...) So is a stroller + car seat a big ticket item?
If so, which is a high quality brand? I wanted a Teutonia, but am unsure whether I have to actually go to a store for it.
Re: Question: Is a stroller a big ticket item?
My sister has a bugaboo stroller that costs $800 plus.
Just curious, did you find reviews on IKEA baby furniture? I know I am going to get one of their high chairs, but I haven't really looked into anything else yet.
I have actually only read a few reviews on the IKEA baby furniture... I know the Leksvik has gotten raves here at thebump.com and I heard it rated well on that baby ratings book.
That's a very good idea.
