If we would have had a girl, she would have been Kendall (not sure about middle name). I still hope I have a girl someday because I LOVE the name Kendall (of course that's not the only reason I want to have another baby! ha!)

For a girl we went with Lucille, we loved Lucy (Lucy in the sky with diamonds is one of my favorite songs) and my gma's middle name was Lucille so with worked out perfectly.
For a boy we had picked out Simon or Elliot

We're obviously still in the VERY early stages of name discussions (it's not even a serious discussion right now, just playful).
But I've always wanted to name a girl Gretta, after my grandmother Margaret. (I might be adjusting to actually using Margaret, though, since it has more variations for nicknames. She could still be Gretta, but also Maggie, Margaret, Margie, etc. I like nicknames. Sue me.) I'd like to use the middle name Naomi after DH's sister who died suddenly right before our wedding, but he doesn't seem sold.
For boys I've always liked Jonas (it has personal meaning for me) but I guess with the Jonas Brothers that's probably out. I also really like Ellis, which is a Welsh name I found recently. DH is Welsh (like, lived in Wales until we met) so it would be nice to have some Welsh influence. Sam is also on my potential list, after my grandfather.
If we have a boy, as of now, his name will be Grant Michael. Grant, because we like it and MIchael after my FIL.
If we have a girl, as of today, her name will be Everly Grace. Everly was the name of my recovery nurse and I really like it, but realized it is similar to my grandmother's name, Evelyn. Grace is after my other grandmother.
We've been pretty certain about our boy name for 2 years. The girl name is pretty recent. . . like 8 weeks. . . I really want to have the names settled for certain before DH leave for Iraq.
