3rd Trimester

what would you consider a light breakfast?

As I posted yesterday I will be induced Tuesday if she doesnt come before then. The dr said that i could have a "light" breakfast if I ate no later than 4:30 (am). Any suggestions?? Most mornings I have a bowl of oats and 2 slices of toast. So any suggestions would be great!! Thanks

Re: what would you consider a light breakfast?

  • Right now I'm eating a slice of whole grain toast and some fruit- I guess that would be considered light.

  • Eating some protein will help keep you full longer... try some eggs as well as a carb like your toast.  The fruit help as well with the fiber.  Good luck!

  • I would say something like yogurt and toast or a piece of fruit and toast.

  • I'd probably have an egg and toast.
  • I 2nd the protein.  Maybe egg in a whole made with whole grain bread; oatmeal; yogurt; fruit...

  • Maybe some toast and scrambled eggs? Or toast with peanut butter and some fruit?

As long as you don't do something of Denny's Grand Slam proportions, you should be fine.

  • Maybe yougurt and some fruit?

small bowl of cereal w/ some fruit

oats and one piece of toast.

I think he is probably just saying don't go to Denny's and scarf down a Grand Slam meal before you come in. Stick out tongue

  • Well since my not light breakfasts lately have included pancakes, french toast, eggs, sausage and bacon I think you are good with what you normally eat...
