My DH says your in major trouble.  I can't stop talking about how cool the Suzuki School looks after reading your post.  He says only I would pick the most expensive place I could find.  He tried reminding me I could have a nanny for that much, but I must say when I read that they teach the baby sign languages I was hooked.

Tell him sorry and you can say it's not the most expensive. There's a place at Atlantic Station that is $1700/month and I think Creme de la creme is around $1600/month. I'm trying to contact someone at All Saints to see about their waitlist and fees. From what I gather $1500 for in city care is normal.

I'm the same way through. It's such a cool school and once you go look you'll be hooked. Ms. Brook is the admissions director and she's awesome. She gave us the tour yesterday and answered all our questions. Actually everyone was really nice and knowledgable. And yes they do baby sign lanuage starting in the level 1 infant room. It's pretty cool.

I know all of the in city daycares are expensive.  Since my DH is going to be deployed for the 1st 8 months I'm going to do my best to not work during that time (I'll be eating mac n cheese for the next few months).  Its just too hard with an infant and being basically a single parent.  Luckily my work is super nice and I think they will let me do some part time work from home.

That's great about your work. I can't imagine basically being a single parent those first months. I'm so glad you have your family near to help you out.
