DS vomitting after eating butternut squash? now what?

so today was his first day trying it. he first vomited after breakfast but i thought it was because i was tickling him too soon after eating. Well i tried giving him it again for lunch and about and hour or two later he threw up again. My husband fed him dinner while I was out and said ds threw up 20 minutes after finishing.

Do i wait until next month and try introducing it to him again? Or do I call his doctor? 

I thought Squash was one of the easier to digest veggies?  

Oh DS also has reflux if that helps at all. Do you think it could have something to do with that?

Uh, if my DC thew up 3 times in 1 day, I'd be calling the Pedi.

well he has reflux so he is constantly spitting up and throwing up because of that. its not extreme vomiting that i would typically consider calling the doctor.

Ah, I understand.  Then I guess since it's fairly normal, wait a few weeks and try again?

DS had squash for the first time the other day and spit it up all over his blanket during tummy time.  I thought I laid him down too soon after eating.  He then had a VERY hard time getting to sleep and I think it was because of an upset tummy.  That's the last time I give a new food in the evening!  I'm also not sure if I should try again in case there was something else going on or wait a while and try again.
