Concerned...doppler question

Ok, so I got my doppler and I just tried it and found a heartbeat (low stomach off to the left side).  BUT, it was anywhere from 90-105bpm.  Is this my heartbeat or is it really baby?  Just concerned that it's too low.....

    Are you counting yourself or does your doppler show the hb rate? You could be picking yours up. I remember when I was using the doppler, I would move the doppler slightly and it would pick up mine. And of course, mine was super fast (90's) because I was super nervous. Maybe you are picking yours up. Take a big breath and relax. It's kind of early to hear the hb on the doppler isn't it? Don't they recommend 12w? Just move it very slowly because even 1/8 of an inch can make a difference and you could be going right over the spot.

    It's probably not the baby's heartbeat.  Be sure to check very low and you don't have to go too far to the left or right.  When you hear it, it will be such a noticable difference.

    I was hearing my own the first time too.  Feel your pulse and see if it matches up.  It's most likely your own h/b.

    That is your HB, I was doing the same thing in the begining I didnt start hearing the baby until later in my 11th week. If you get really low near the pubic line and go slowly across you might find it. The problem I had was that I was too high. Try not to worry.

    Thanks ladies, I do think that it's my h/b too.  I got the doppler with the digital display so I'm not counting it myself.  I guess I need to take a breath and try again in a few days :)

    Also you might try in the mornings or later in the evenings.  Remember to stay low...sometimes lower than you think.

    That's probably your arterial circulation...it goes woosh, woosh, woosh. ?Baby's heartbeat is more of a rapid phut phut phut sound.

    Do it right above your pubic bone, and go up a little from there.
