WHY do strangers touch your belly?

Seriously, I just don't get this. Why do complete strangers feel its acceptable to just touch your stomach? I would never do that.

 Grrrr.

    I actually never had that experience throughout this entire pregnancy. However, I did have one of DH's annoying photo assistants, who is just kind of gross and unkempt, walk in the door a few weeks ago and grab my belly, saying "WOW..."

    I nearly smacked him. Oh. My. Farking. Gawd.

    I don't know.  I have never done that.  I think people are trying to do something nice, but it is an invasion of personal space...

    I think you should touch their belly back.  Or maybe their butt.  That would send the message. :)
