We had a 45 lb cat come in to the vet where I used to work.  The owners had backed over it with their car.  Amazingly, because the cat was so fat, all he had was some bruising.

I saw that yesterday and I couldn't believe that someone would let their cat get that large.  It doesn't look like it can walk.
