She just graduated culinary school a few months ago as a pastry chef. She loves her job and makes some really cool stuff. She just sent me this picture in email. Email says:

"I'm going to send you pics of every baby cake I do from now until your shower. Pick the one you like the best and we'll mess with it a bit so it's one of a kind for you. I can't wait to do yours!"

OMG.  That's SO adorable!  I wish I had the patience to do that kind of thing.  My grandma made the most beautiful wedding cakes, and I wish I'd gotten her cake pans when she passed.  Instead they went to somebody to whom they meant nothing.

But to have your sis do your cake?  How AWESOME.

She honestly kills me. If it's possible, I think she is more excited about being an aunt than I am about being a mom.

I'm really proud of her with this, too. She had a lot of false career starts before she decided on the culinary program. I was really hoping she would stick with it because she's good at it. So far, so good!
