Ticker age question...

Ok, so I don't understand how DS age is calculated.

Technically, he'll be  20 wks on Sunday.  I would think that would be 5 mths.  The bump ticker puts him at 4 mths/1 wk/6 days right now 

Am I adding wrong somehow?  I've been taking his pictures (ex. I'm 3 months today!) at 12 weeks. 

Should I be going according to the bump ticker?

    Not all months have 4 weeks.

    Ditto pp.  If you go by weeks then a year would have 13 months not 12.

    each month has 4.33 weeks (on average) since some have 31 days, some have 30 and then there's February that just screws everything up. So yes, use the ticker age. ie: DD was born oct3, next friday (nov.28) she will be 8 weeks but she won't be 2 months until dec3. The months roll over at the date each month. ie: oct3, nov3, dec3, jan3, etc...

    I guess I just never paid that much attention till now!

     

    Doh!  I guess 2, 3, 4 month pics will be a little off!  He'll never know!  LOL
