Baby Center just sent me an e-mail that mentioned to avoid raisins and dried fruit because of choking hazards. I just cut them in half. Does anyone else do this?
I wasn't planning on giving raisins yet b/c of the choking hazard. Apparently FIL took it upon himself to give DD Raisinettes over the weekend. She did fine with them but I don't think it's a practice that I'll continue.
We allow DS to eat them if they are cooked in something but don't give them dried. Not only is it a choking hazard but they can also be damaging to the teeth because they are so sticky. Its not easy to get those teeth brushed well enough.
