how frustrating! I am so sorry about the spotting, but I hope it turns out for the best- I had a weird rocky start with my betas this time around- they were way low...
O girl, I saw your post the other night and posted late on it. I am sorry you are going through this. Every pregnancy should be easy and there should never be any problems when trying to bring a little miracle into this world. With that said the same thing happened to me and my OB said that he saw plenty of women who's hcg's didn't double and carried healthy babies. I wish mine ended that way but unfortunately mine did end in a miscarriage. My hcg's went from 3,400 to 6,000 in 48 hours and then from 6000 to 11,800 in another 48 hours but never really doubled. It was really crazy because everytime the OB called me with my results I got false hope because he was like they are soo close to doubling. So, I had to wait a week for another US to confirm an empty sac (blighted ovum):( I will say a prayer for you for a sticky baby. Did you call your OB and let him know you are spotting? Mine would do an US whenever spotting is seen. Are you having cramping with the spotting? I would call your OB! GL
I've been having mild cramps on and off since my BFP last week. My HCG levels were 645 on Friday, and 1265 on Monday. We'll see what they are tomorrow. I hope I get an ultrasound also, but it's so early (5 weeks) so I don't know. Blood work is just drop-in at my RE, so I'll probably call the office ahead of time to let them know about the spotting and hopefully I can get in to see the Dr. or nurse. Thanks ladies.
Oh, how stressful! I'm so sorry you're having to worry about this (((hugs))) GL at the RE's office -def. mention the spotting to them ***fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy***
Good luck! It's so hard to get through the early weeks of pregnancy, worry about everything especially when you have spotting. That just magnifies your stress and feels terrible. I hope everything is ok - my thoughts are with you!
