Fever

I have been running a fever for the last 2 days now. I am keeping it pretty low grade (under 100) with tylenol, but it won't go away. I went to the doctor last TH and did find I have a bladder infection(had a low grade fever then too). I have been on antibiotics since.

I called the doc back and asked if there was anything else I should do. I figure if it were still the infection the fever should be gone by now. I guess I am just worried and needed some place to vent until the doc calls back.

Did any of you have a fever (not as a pg symptom obviously) in the beginning of pg?

I had bronchitis and a low grade fever for the first week of my pregnancy (right before and right after I got my BFP). It was scary and unpleasant. I was put on the Z-pac of antibiotics and took tylenol to reduce the fever. As far as I know thus far, my baby is just fine despite a rough beginning!

I am so sorry you are sick... being sick while pregnant sucks, especially at the beginning when you are so nervous anyway. Big hugs!

i haven't but i think as long as you are keeping it under control you shouldn't worry.  you might need a stronger antibiotic though.  are you staying hydrated?

Yup. From the way I have been peeing, I am not worried about that at all.

Aw, Mandy sorry you're sick I don't have much advice but agreeing with maybride in that you need to keep hydrated. Hope you feel better soon!

I had a fever about a week after my BFP.  When tylenol wore off, it was getting up to 101-102 and I was of course freaked out.  I talked to two different OBs while it was happening and neither was particularly concerned, as long as it did go down with the tylenol.  My baby is growing right on time and "looks great" as my OB said today.
