Do I want classic tall or short ones?  The tall ones look way tall.

I love my classic talls - that's what I wear with everything.  I don't have any of the short ones.

I do have long legs though.  The classic talls are at least 6 inches from my knee.

Ok.  Do you usually tuck your jeans into them or wear them under your jeans?

I am totally butting in, but I think the short ones are weird and I have very short legs.  Both of mine are talls.  And I wear them over and under jeans, depends on the outfit.

I either wear them under my jeans or I cuff my jeans over them.

Cuffing your jeans to be 4 inches below your knee --- dude, I need a picture!

No, those are Sundance talls I think rolled over. They have fur on the inside, so she has "cuffed" the top of the boot too.

When I cuff mine,  I don't cuff them to meet at the top of the boot, they sometimes hang over the boot.  It's not really exact.  It still goes over the boot.

Oh, yes, makes sense.

That's how I wear them --- cuffed jeans but not cuffed to hit the top of the boot.  Cuffed so that they hang over the boot.
