Anyone have a roomba vacuum?

If so, what is your review of it?

We have a dyson for our regular vacuum but in between vacuuming our hardwoods (dark stain) get a ton of dust and it really shows against the dark stain.  I've heard the roomba isn't great for a hardcore cleaning but gets the job done daily as in you won't see dust bunnies. I might pick one up to give it a shot so I'm curious if those who have them like it. Thanks!

I like mine!  I use it on the hard kitchen floor more than my carpets.  Bonus is that my two boys love helping set it up and watching it run!

We got one for my MIL a few years ago for Christmas and she loves it. They had to replace it after FIL tripped over it and broke it, but they loved it enough to buy a new one! She says pretty much what you've heard- it's good for just every-day general cleaning, but isn't good for big messes. She uses it mostly on her hardwood floors in the kitchen.?

I love ours.  It works great on any hard floors, and really well on our chort carpet.  If you have thick or tall carpet it wont do very good.  It is perfect for cleaning up messes while you do other things, I love it!

I had one about 3 years ago and didn't like it. It was very noisy and the battery would run out quickly. I don't think it did that great of a job, to be honest. The newer ones might be better and quieter so maybe someone who has a new one can comment?

We just use a Swiffer for the everyday stuff, dog hair, dust, etc.
