Target screwed me!

I ordered one of the Britax car seats that was 42.00 and a gift for a baby shower.  I went to my order to check if the gift was shipped and I have no orders at all.

I called CS and asked about the gift.  I understand about the car seat but since there was no shipping on the car seat only the gift, all they had to do was cancel that.  But they canceled everything because they thought I didn't want the gift is what the CSR told me.

Jerks.

That's interesting. Anytime I order multiple items and one item is cancelled, the other items ship anyway.

They shouldn't have canceled your whole order.  That doesn't make sense.  I hope you can still get the gift in time for the shower.

Ummm yeah if you read my post, I can give 2 sh!ts about the car seat honey.  I'm pissed they canceled an order that had nothing to do with the car seat fiasco and I lost the sale price on the gift I was buying.

PMQ- I don't think she was complaining about not getting the carseat if you read her post.  She was upset that they cancelled her entire order which included other items other than the carseat.

Ugh that sucks!  I hope they are going to overnight the gift they cancelled.

And that blows about Target - that is quite possibly the dumbest thing I have ever heard of a business doing.

Thanks girls for reading the post!  My huge pet peeve are people who don't read a post and then answer with a totally useless answer.

I called them back and got a manager who said it was a mistake.  They are sending me the item at the sale price with expedited shipping.  And he was apologetic.  Not like the CSR who was really snotty and said they can't offer the sale price anymore.

Mine are still there. I had the carseat and some p'np sheets/toys for the baby and the carseat is gone, of course, but everything else is still in the cart saying will ship in a couple of days.
