My deasl of the day.

So, the Target thing didn't happen which doesn't surprise me, I would have been very surprised if my order had actually shipped (which is totally too bad since dd won't be in her infant seat that much longer.)

But, even if I didn't save 100s of dollars at Target at least I found some good deals today: the grocery store was passing out coupons for $1 off of any organic Cascadian Farm product. Their frozen veggies were on sale 2/$3, so with the coupons they only cost me $0.50 each! Organic berries, normally $4.29/bag were on sale for $2.99 and I was able to use $1 off coupons on those too so they were only $1.99.

Best thing though was tomato sauce: they also had a ton of in-store coupons for $1 off any organic Muir Glen product. I stocked up on tomato sauce that was on sale for $0.99- so with the coupon I essentially got paid a penny to take them home, LOL.

So, it might not be a fancy carseat, but at least I have the solace of knowing that I still managed to get some good deals on something else useful. ;-)

  • That's great. Those Muir Glen and CF coupons are hard to come by.

I hope that you grabbed a bunch and stocked up.

  • Not nearly so exciting, but I found Cokes 10/$10 at CVS.  DH is a total Coke junkie (coca cola, of course) and is picking us up 10 and might go back again later this week.  He goes through at least 2-3 2-liters a week.  Lately, I've been buying Pepsi because it's been on sale, but he would much rather have Coke.  (They're usually like $1.80 around here and on sale for maybe $1.50.)
