I have a 17 month old who has been attending the same daycare for about 10 months now. I have made arrangements for him to start a new daycare in exactly a month. A few reasons, mostly I think that he has outgrown the current daycare he is in and I get the feeling he is not being stimulated enough. There are some other things that are more subjective as well that I won't go into detail here.
How much notice would/have you given when you have changed daycares? I don't want to leave them with a hole, but I also don't want my DS to be treated any differently (who knows?).

I would take a look at our contract and see if there is any obligations on my part. I think we have a 30 day leave notice - but my daycare is through my husband's company and so we have to do some other things w/ payroll deductions and that sort of thing.
Do you pay on a weekly or monthly basis - if you don't find details in your contract, I'd tell them right before you owe the next payment...
