I need 2nd Birthday party help

We finally set a date for DS 2nd birthday party.  But, now I actually have to plan it and am completely void of ideas. 

Any theme ideas?

How about a Noah's Ark theme (since there are 2 of every animal)?

What's he into?  Any special animal/show/toy favorite thing to do, etc?

We did a colors theme, since that's what DD was really into when I started planning it.  We had a "roses are red..." type poem about her on the invites, decorated in a bunch of different solid-colored balloons, and had guests sign Dr. Seuss' My Many-Colored Days as the "guest book."  I did multi-colored cupcakes for the "cake." It turned out pretty cute!

We are doing a "Wild Wild West" theme b/c that is what my DD is into, to my dismay.  I was also considering a jungle animal theme.

What is your DS into at the moment?

i know she's only 2 but i took my dd to the party store and let her pick.  it was pretty fun to watch her choose!

circus/carnival theme for 1st b-day

fire fighter for 2nd

dinosaur this year

All things he was into at the time

The only things he is super into right now is books.  He could read all day long!

I have thought about doing firefighter theme.
