Too small for 4T, too big for 3T

That is with adjustable waist even.  Jonathan was able to wear his little brother's shorts this summer that were 24 month!  I have it adjusted to the smallest slot on 4T and they fall off of him but 3T is too short.  What do I do?  But the kid a belt and adjust to the smallest setting?

  • Find a different brand of pants.

Oshkosh.. good for kids built bigger

    Old Navy,TCP...slimmer kids

    Gymboree  good for longer kids.

  • We're using ON right now or Sonoma. He's 30 pounds and 38 inches. He's really long and lean.
  • can you "tuck" the sides.. i have had to do that with a couple of DS's he's tall and lean also.  i usually end up pulling an inch or so on each side of the waist and putting a tuck in them.
  • My DD has about the same measurements and we're "lucky" because she's cloth diapered.  It keeps her pants up.  I do cinch up a belt on some of her pants.  She may just wear short pants after she's potty trained.

  • We're pt right now.  Matthew is doing amazing and Jonathan makes one mistake and tells me to put a diaper back on.  I know that his CP pants are ok.  Maybe I'll have to just go get more of them.
