Target/Walmart Return Policies

Can you return items without a receipt? I'm having a hard time reading through it all online. Target seems like not and Walmart doesn't specifically say for items without one.  I have a ton of oils, lotions, etc that I'd like to return but don't know where they came from. More than likely, one of those 2 stores.

You can return at Target once per year without a receipt. They will issue you store credit. They keep track of how many times you do this by checking your driver?s license, which is why you can only do it once a year (unless you can get DH to do it for you). Good luck!

Wal Mart is usually good at taking returns without a receipt.  I don't know what their exact policy is, but I haven't had an issue returning anything.
