I have been on the "getting pregnant" board for some weeks, but was very excited when I saw the TTC over 35.  So I am checking out this board.  About me...I am 36.  I am raising my boyfriend's six year old with him.  I am the only "mom" he knows as his abandoned almost at birth.  So even though I have been a mother, I have never been pregnant.  We are going to marry in 2009, and with my age, decided to not wait till the wedding to TTC. We live together and figure we'll be married when the baby is born, so the earlier we start..the better.  I'm in month 3 of trying.  Am really frustrated right now as I'm a week late, but tested on Saturday and BFN.  So now I'm just waiting for AF so I can start month 4.  Looking forward to cheering for you ladies and laughing and crying.

Hope AF shows up soon (or that you had a false negative) so you can keep trying. I totally understand your frustration and hope all works out for you.
