Mucinex DM while preg?

YES i have a call into my Dr waiting to see what they say, but figured i would ask you dorks too.

    Does it have pseudoephedrine or phenylephrine in it?  If so than they don't suggest to because it can cross the placenta.

    I looked it up on WebMD and it said only to take it when clearly necessary during pregnancy but NOT to take it if you are breastfeeding b/c they don't know if it passes to the baby.

    I have been told no on anything with a 'DM' (they contain dextrotrimoriphan - which is bad).

    The Vicks Vapo-Inhaler and regular Sudafed has been a life saver for me, though - Hope you feel better!

    I take Mucinex DM at the advice of my midwife.

    I took it with my previous pregnancies, and my kids we're born just fine....
