Overheard a mom say this:

"I hate it when people say she looks like me! She's not a cute baby, it makes me feel ulgy when they say 'oh she looks just like you' !"

This mom was talking to her friend in the food court at the mall.She was talking about her DD, that was about 9-12months old, sleeping in the stroller next to her.

That is sad, but it could very well be true. I mean, we all know that not every baby is cute....she may truly feel that her's is one of the not-so-cute ones..... who knows.

Either way, I think it's a crappy thing to voice aloud about your child regardless of their age and how you really feel.  I hope that little girl grows up to be a KNOCK OUT and make her mom look like poopoo next to her.

Um, wow!  Does the baby look like an ewok (sp?) ??  I know some baby's aren't as beautiful as others, but to say that about your own kid??

No, I could see her DD- while she's no xb's Brooke, she was still cute! I've seen ugly babies before... this baby was "average/cute."
