I've always heard internals described as mildly uncomfortable. Well, I had my first today and holy crap. If that's someone else's "mildly uncomfortable," they need to start my epidural about...now.
So-- am I a giant wimp or do others find internals a little more on the painful side as well?
The good news was that I'm already 1 1/2 cm and soft, with baby still up pretty high. I'm hoping for at least another week or two of baking in there, but after that, she can come on out whenever she's ready!
Re: do internals hurt you?
Yeah, they feel around a lot, but it's further in/up there than I've ever felt anything before!
