Stacking Tylenol and Motrin - timing ?

Just double checking (having a pg-brain moment) - poor DS has a fever:

Motrin every 6-8 hours
Tylenol every 4-6 hours

Started with Tylenol, gave Motrin dose 2 hours later (can then give Tylenol again two hours later, etc.)- that's ok, right?!!!   Where's Bubbly when I need her?!

Yes, that would be fine....  I would alternate them about every 2 - 3 hours.

My doctor told me to give them 2 hours apart.

ex: Motrin at noon, tylenol at 2 OR 4, motrin at 6, tylenol at 8 OR 10 Motril at 12.

I stacked a couple of times when Owen was teething something fierce. I usually gave him Motrin then waited 4 hours so when that started to wear off I the Tylenol was starting to kick in. Good luck and I hope your little one feels better soon.
