WHY would Target be selling Britax for $42??

I ordered one, but this is bothering me... Why would they be selling a $280 car seat for $42? I keep thinking it can't be for real! lol

They clearance them out in stores for pretty cheap from time to time - but I don't know about online or why they'd do so online.

I'm thinking it was supposed to be $42 off the original price.  I think someone made a major mistake here.  I just ordered one too.

Clearing out certain styles....my guess. I don't really care too much. I just got 2 for less than 1 of my Evenflos. My little girl won't need them for another year, but how can you justify not saving $200?

They're probably phasing out that particular fabric....since the other patterns weren't on sale.  Good thing it's one of the gender neutral fabrics.  I ordered two and my SIL who's expecting twins ordered four for less than what one costs.  Can't beat that!

These are the seats that only go to 33 lbs...so they must be at least 8 months old (February was when they started the 35 lb RF limit). That would be my guess why--they need to get rid of the old seats.

Wait, am I wrong in thinking that they go up to 65 lbs.???  I mean, it's the Marathon which is what I already have for that specific reason...higher weight limit.  And it says on the description of these seats that it goes up to 65 lbs.

yes, sorry. 33 lb RF limit, they're still 65 FF limit. Anyway, I wouldn't be shocked if the date of manufacture is closer to 2 years or something...I'm betting they have a bunch of old seats they're trying to sell.
