how many accidents is too many? re potty training

in the space of 3 hours Michelle has peed 4 training pants ... the cotton ones.  She is peeing on the potty but is having lots of accidents.  I guess I'm just not looking forward to this and maybe I'm getting too frustrated to easily over the whole situation.

Completely normal, and not too many. When I started getting frustrated, b/c I swear, she'd go pee in the toilet, but then have a zillion accidents, I put the Pull Ups away and just put underwear on her when we were home. I'd still put diapers or the training pants on when we went out. I felt like she'd never learn and then voila, it just happened one day. She started going in the toilet a litlle more, and then even more, and I made a huge deal out of the whole process, and she just gave up the daipers/training pants all together.

I think it just depends on how much you want to deal with.  I tried 2 different times to pt before she did it in a day the 3rd time.

The first 2 times, she did okay but was having a ton of accidents.  I wasn't willing to deal with it. 

Then one day I had her rashy butt airing out and she went and sat on the potty and pooped.  We never looked back.  She has had a few pee accidents here and there but never a poop accident. We went straight to undies home and going out.

So it is up to you how much you want deal with. I didn't want to put that much effort into it and I'm glad I just waited until she was really ready.
