my parents want to buy the kids a table and chairs set for their playroom! Yay! We're prefer wooden, but the wooden sets in my parent's price range don't have the greatest reviews.... so we're open to whatever. It will mainly be for art time or maybe snacks or when they play with their kitchen food.
So offer a review of your child's table and chair set.
Re: child table and chair recs
MIL bought mine a Little Tikes Adjust & Draw table. ?It's $50. ?However, they haven't used it yet since it's a Xmas present, so I can't really review it!

Our table is plastic. It's that Mammut table from Ikea. DD LOVES it and wants to sit at it first thing. They come in round and rectangular and red, blue & green (you can mix & match). We got a table, 2 chairs and a stool for about $60. At first I wanted a wooden table, too, but I went with plastic because I want her to do art projects at it and be able to hose it off, scrub, etc. The chairs are large and sturdy (she makes DH and I sit at it all the time). I think it'll last her a long time, and I just love how cartoony it looks. You can order them online at ikea.com.
Oops. I forgot the link.

This site has some really great table and chair sets, I think we are ordering one for DS as well!
FWIW, I went to Ikea to check out what they had and wasn't very impressed with the quality. It seemed really lightweight to me. Maybe the PP have a different set though.
GL!

Although, it's a christmas present so she hasn't actually used it yet. It's listed for $85 but watch your sales and coupons... we got it for about $60. I like that the table is big. Some of the other ones we looked at have really small tables.
