Why does it seem that sometimes there is a gear visible to 'dismiss' posts and sometimes not?

My siggy and tickers went away, I've been trying to reload them but nothing is happening

Well. That's a little better. It needs to be at the top too.

In the OP on mobile it says "october 2013" at the top of the post before whatever the OP posted and that is clicky as well.

I have to say I care a lot less about the overall 'look' of the site as compared with it's functionality. I also think the love button is helpful for things like HDBD where we used to end up with 5 pages worth of posts just from people saying, "You look so cute!" It cuts down on things like that.

I preferred to have the boards listed on the left side like before, and it's too much white for sure.  It looks like a beta test site where they haven't worked on the graphics/colors yet.  I hope it's not going to stay that way. 

Also, somehow my HDBD pic didn't work even though I posted it like I always do (tiny pic with the code cut-and-pasted into the text).  And since now you can't edit posts (what's with that?), I couldn't fix it either.

If you hover over the top right corner of your post, you'll see a little gear to click on to edit.

Agreed. Things feel disorganized with everything on a white background. Group menu items and sidebars together visually with some sort of background or border.

I am not find of the "love it" it reminds me too much of another site's "hug" button. Also don't like the drop down box as the best way to go to another board. Or it could be I'm just not doing things right if I want to check what the dads board is up to.

Mobile stinks!!! It's difficult to navigate.. I wish we could see siggys and there is way too much white.

The only thin I like is being able to directly attach a photo from my mobile library... Other than that I am not a fan.

On my work computer, I can't post-at all. I can view a wonky format, when I click new discussion or reply, it all goes to hell. And, I lost 9000 posts in my count.
