Hey there!
I'm pregnant with my first baby and I want to have a natural delivery. I've been reading about doulas and wanted to know if someone could recommend one. I'm guessing that like with all things, there are good and bad ones and I really want this to be a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
Thanks!!!
Re: Can someone recommend a doula?
I used MDD and chatted with Jen Henderson from Dream a Little Dream and Stacy Thompson from Beautiful Beginnings. I did end up hiring one of them and after my baby's birth in September I'd be happy to give you a review. I chatted with both on the phone and got a great sense that I was doing the right thing as far as preparing for a natural birth.
You may get some more helpful recs from the baby shop Modern Natural Baby in Ferndale - they have a FB page and will post questions to the community for you.
Thank you so much!!! I will check that out. I send blessing and good thoughts on your upcoming birth and look forward to hearing how your experience was with your doula.
Thank you for the information. I will find out when the next meet and greet is and make arrangements to attend.
I will look Diana up and contact her. I am really excited about this upcoming exciting time and thank you for the recommendation!!!
