start dating again..?

When you guys start dating again after being a single mom? Do you tell to your date you have kid right away?

Being a single mom is fun but hard, and it like I don't have anytime for someone else other then DD or a new relationship. But I sort of seeing someone else and he doesn't know I have a daughter yet. It feels like I don't get a chance to tell him and we are not official it gonna be weird if I open about it with him.

    I say you do it ASAP. I plan to tel everyone right off the bat so that there are no misunderstandings or hurt feelings. How is your LO by the way?

    thank you guys :) I will try to bring it up and tell him asap. My LO is doing good now, so much better then when she was a newborn.

    I make mention of the fact that I have a child but will not really discuss her until I feel comfortable and trust the guy. Also, I never discuss the BD drama. EVER.

    I was actually wondering that too. I love being single again, but raising a kid is kind of interfering with my social life LOL. My thought is, when I start dating again, I will tell them about my son by the end of the first date. Or if comes up sooner that's even better. I can't be with anyone who is uncomfortable with children, so I might as well filter out the bad ones right away. No reason to waste time dating someone, only to find out they hate kids.

    I waited a year. I really needed that time to get myself in order and to be mentally prepared to be with a man again.

    I was 100% up front about having kids from the get go. I also made sure the guys knew I was not looking to mess around, I was serious about finding someone to share my life with. It was all of me and my baggage or none of me.

    It worked out great for me after a few dates I found the right guy We have been together for almost 8 years, married for almost 2 and have a new baby on the way.

    I am on my way to divorce court with my cheating husband, I am 26 weeks pregnant. This is my third child. I plan to be honest up front, no since in hiding such a big part of my life, I do not however plan to bring issues between me and my ex into things.
