This happened a few days ago.

George Zimmerman, who has been keeping a low profile since a jury found him not guilty in the death of Trayvon Martin, helped pull a family of four out of their overturned Ford Explorer in Florida last week, according to the Seminole County Sheriff?s ­Office.

?He was just helping another good Samaritan help the family? after their car went off the road in Sanford, Fla., said Kim Cannady, public information officer for the sheriff?s office.

The incident occurred July 17 about 5:45 p.m. When a sheriff?s deputy responded to a single-car accident in the area of Interstate 4 and State Road 46, he found that two men, one of whom was Zimmerman, had got the family out of the overturned vehicle, according to Cannady.

Zimmerman gave the deputy his account of what had happened and left, Cannady said. There were no reports of injuries to those in the car.

It was the first reported appearance of Zimmerman in public since he walked away from a Sanford courtroom a free man July 13, after a jury of six women acquitted him of a second-degree murder charge in the shooting death of Martin.

Since this pertains NOT AT ALL to the Trayvon Martin case, I have to assume there is some agreement between the Sanford police and the small town media to make this douche seem like a hero.  Not buying it.

GZ needs to calm the *** down. He's so drawn to being "the hero". The first time, it got a boy killed. This time everyone was okay.

To me what's suspicious is that it took place near his home and where trayvon was killed. I highly doubt he's staying at his highly publicized location when on the news in Jacksonville they had a story about another non related George Zimmerman getting death threats.
