PTing - please tell me this is normal

We were doing so well, only one accident a day, maybe two, then this past  friday he started having accidents almost every time.  But he still peed in the potty.  I was taking him every 45 minutes, but had to dial it back to 20 or 30 minutes and sometimes even then he wasn't dry.  Is this regression normal?

I did change his rewards to an m&m every time he pees in the potty to he only gets one if he is dry and pees in the potty.  It seems to have been a little more effective, but we are still having way more accidents than we were.  He will come over to the potty trained side eventually, right?  Right?

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

  • Thanks for the encouragement. Last night he had a total meltdown and even chose not to go to the park because he didn't want to pee before leaving the house. It was horrible!
