peach vs lemon

Random thought...

Are peaches bigger than lemons? I just bought peaches and lemons and well, the peaches are bigger...

Why am I talking about peaches? This week, baby is the size of a peach. Next week, the size of a lemon!  Are our babies shrinking? LOL

It's monday!   :D

  • Some of the fruits don't make sense to me either. Maybe it is a really large lemon?

  • The fruit thing is crazy. Later on at some point there is a banana and it doesn't make sense to me. I remember with ds when I went from whatever was right before it to a banana I was like what the heck?!

  • I think that lemons are longer than peaches, maybe? If it's a smallish peach and a largish lemon. The peaches I bought from the farmers market are definitely smaller than my lemons, but grocery store peaches are huge in comparison.

  • Maybe it's because I live in CA but we just bought some massive lemons that are bigger than the peaches lol It's more of a length thing though. Wait until banana week lol

  • MH and I have said the same thing!

However, my son loves the weekly fruit change.  We try to buy whatever it is, and then talk about it.   It has helped him to try new foods, too!

I think banana week is because after 20 weeks the baby is measured from crown to toe, not crown to rump, which is why there is a massive change in the fruit.
