I stopped taking Bc in Febuary, I had a normal 30 day cycle while on the pill. My first cycle after I stopped taking the pill was 30 days, then 33 days, then it jumped to 53 days! May was a very stressful month for me so I assumed the delay was due to stress, now we are well into July and I'm on day 44 of my current cycle. DH and I are planning on TTC in September, so I guess my question is should I go to the doctors to get my cycles regulated or just keep charting and go with the flow. I have been using opk's and I got a positive on day 40, I also had a large amount of thick stretchy ew cervical fluid with a little bit of blood in it that same day. Any of you have success getting pregnant on longer cycles?

Re: Abnormal cycles
Your cycle should be normal on a pill...that's the point of it.
There is nothing a doctor can do to regulate your cycle other than put you back on BC.
Sometimes it takes a while to regulate after coming off of BC, and you may have a new normal cycle. Yes, you can get pregnant even with a longer cycle.
