Does anyone else need to use lovenox during your pregnancy? I was hospitalized in December with pulmonary embolisms. My ob dr is concerned and put me on lovenox during my pregnancy even though my clots are gone. I am very nervous about having to give myself shots in the belly when I am further along. I know the dr said it is safe but I am afraid of the needle being too close to the baby.

I did. There are videos on youtube that show you some injection techniques, and the High-Risk Pregnancy board has discussions about it. It is a pain in the butt, but you'll be fine!

You can always have your pharmacist show you how to use it. Don't worry, it won't get anywhere near baby!
