Pregnant after IF

How much should a Beta rise in a week?

I go in the morning for a 3rd beta. My first was 55, second was 111, and that was last Monday.
What should my beta be tomorrow?

TIA!

  • HCG should double every 48 hours or so. Google 'beta calculator' and you'll come up with a few links that will tell you the doubling time. As your levels get higher though, the doubling slows, so if it's a bit more than 48 hours that's ok too.

    Good luck!

  • Ha! Good question about the nurse. It's supposed to be the new Jaime. The only nurse I have ever met on person is Pam, the oncall nurse. I've been a little disappointed in the how the nurses do things, but I guess I'm really not paying them, so it's not that big of a deal. I just like to put a face to a name, ya know?

Yeah, it is a little weird how the nurses you see at the clinic are not the nurses you receive phone calls from.  They seem to keep it completely separate.  I met my IVF nurse, Ashley, a few times to sign consents, so that was nice.  I was switched over to Heather after the first positive beta result, but I've never met her.  Dying to know when (if I'm lucky enough) my first ultrasound will be!  Should find out today if results come back good.

I should hear too! This is my 3rd beta, (I'm just hoping that is their protocol) and I hope we get to schedule our first u/s! Waiting for these calls are so nerve wracking!

Have you heard from the clinic yet?  Heather called, and my Beta is 2,825! It went from 111 in a week! My DH asked if it could be twins! HA! It'd be an all natural set of twins since we only transferred one!
I hope and pray you got good news as well!
