How many cycles for 2nd baby?

Hi all! Haven't been on these boards in years. But it happened... Hubby and I have babies on the brain again.

It took 6 cycles to conceive our son (taking the 5th month off to regroup because I was stressed it wasn't happening). Then bam, it happened the 6th month.

How long did it take you fine ladies for your 1st and second positives?

    No little one yet here. Got pregnant in Dec 1 st month TTC. Had MC in Feb took 2 cycles off due to MC. now on cycle 5 with no luck so far.

    We weren't trying for #1, now we're on cycle 17 trying for #2.

    2 IUIs 
    3 Fresh IVFs= 1 Ectopic treated with MTX
    Spontaneous pregnancy #2= Ectopic #2= lost left tube
    Spontaneous pregnancy #3= DD2 January 29, 2016
    Spontaneous pregnancy #4= Ectopic #3
    Spontaneous pregnancy #5= Baby #3 is a BOY!!!

    1st - it took 4 days

    2nd- we haven't used any BC in 14 months and still haven't had luck.  Timing has been okay, but job stress and DH working out of town quite a bit has changed the circumstance a bit.

    1st was 2 cycles and months. We are still trying for our second, going on 36 cycles and months.

    With DD1 I had previously been on bc and it took 2 cycles.

    With DD2 I had a m/c and we waited a month. I got pregnant the first cycle after we waited but it was a c/p. We tried again the following month and I got pregnant with DD2.

    1st:  4 cycles (3 months)

    2nd:  very first cycle!

    I was surprised it happened so fast the 2nd time.

    DS- tried 5 cycles, had a chemical preg, got preg on 7th cycle

    DD-2 cycles (we were shocked that it didn't take as long)

    I think with DD I knew what I was doing more than with DS. I also stopped taking BC about 5 months before trying for #2 and we  just avoided sex during my fertile window until we were ready to actually TTC. Does that make sense? I do know a lot of people though that took longer to conceive the second baby. There's really no way to predict it. GL

    TTC #2- We're currently on the 12th cycle.

    1st positive was 1 month

    2nd positive (ended in m/c) was month 7

    3rd positive was month 10 with 1 month off because we moved cross-country.

     BFP on Cycle 17 09/27/12. EDD 06/04/12! Please Stick Baby! A/S 01/22/13 Baby looking great. Officially TEAM BLUE! Jack is getting a Baby Brother! RCS scheduled for 05/29/13. William Daryll born at 9:59am on 05/29/13. Left ovary and tube removed due to peach sized tumor found during RCS. Pathology came back benign!
