Oil for cloth wipe solution

I currently use olive oil in my cloth wipe solution but found out it isn't best for cloth diapers. What oil is safe to use (if any). And side question what makes olive oil bad for the diapers?

I've used olive oil for 10 months without issue. I just squirt the solution on the wipes not the diaper.
