Reassurances

A few of us have mentioned reassurances. Ds has given me a few. After visiting a friend who just had a baby, he described the baby: "He doesn't eat apples. He doesn't talk. He cries when he doesn't have ouchies.". While giving the dog a haircut, ds sat next to the dog and brushed his hair while I was trimming the dog's back. He was so sweet and gentle with the dog. While complementing him, I asked if he would ever like to be a big brother. "No, you have one kid. We don't need another kid." We were laughing a making a craft later and I realized this would not be as much fun if trying to manage two kids. There are so many silly moments that just couldn't happen if we had more than one.
