Yeast infection? Complication when already high risk?

Ive never had a yeast infection so I'm not sure what this is but all day I've been irritated down there, itchy, kind of like a burning sensation and just irritated, it gets worse when I go to the bathroom. I don't have a crazy increase in discharge. Is this normal in 3rd tri? I went into ptl at 24wks so I'm really cautious of any weird new pregnancy symptoms or discomforts.

At what point is it worth a call to the ob? I'd have to call the on call dr since their office is closed until Monday. Not sure if I should wait on it... I dont want any type of infection that could mess with the pregnancy.

I really have no idea, but if you're terribly uncomfortable, it would be worth it to call.

I have had similar symptoms in third Tri due to increased blood flow to the area coupled with incr in vaginal secretions. Burning could be a UTI, or bc of the extra blood flow to the area, the labia tissues can be more susceptible to small tears when you wipe, which can also burn when you go. Try thinking about where the burning is located.
I wouldn't hesitate to get it checked at your next appointment or sooner if you're really uncomfortable. In the meantime, you could try an external product like Vagisil Wipes to see if you get any relief that way, make sure you are wearing cotton panties, and change them often, especially in this heat.
