just a little bleeding

I am 7 weeks.  I have had just a little bit of bleeding yesterday and today.  It is only there when I wipe... and then only sometimes.  It's not there every time that I use the restroom.  I read on the internet that light spotting is normal.  Should I be worried?

I would call your OB in the morning and voice your concerns... He or she will be able to provide you with some insight at least.  Bleeding is not uncommon, but to ease your mind I think a phone call is warranted.

Drink lots of water & relax for a few days. It's probably nothing, but you need to rest.

I'm six weeks and six days and I have had the same thing. I had a brownish tinged spotting and then a bright red but only when I wiped once. I hear that it can be normal.. I called the OB clinic and asked what to do and they said it can be normal and to only worry if is associated with cramping or a lot of bright red blood. So don't worry, be happy :

Thanks ladies!!  One minute I'm worried and the next minute I'm not.  Resting is my problem.  I am one of those people who feel like they should always be doing something.  I will definitely try though!

I was told NEVER to read online cause it always tells you the worst.  Thats what I always did and scared me to death.  I would def. call your doctor and double check and to get peace of mind.  I had a few spotting issues in my early weeks but mine wasn't blood more like brown.  Which they say brown is old blood.  Also if you had sex spotting a little blood happens too.
