Re: New to the area

  • I don't know what your definition is of reasonably priced, but look into Liberty Twnshp and West Chester.

  • I live in Fairfield Township and love it.  Lots of nearby parks, shopping, entertainment, etc. We just bought our current home here and the price we paid was well below market value. FF Township is great too because it has easy access to a lot of other areas. Liberty Township is great too, but their district is headed South, believe it or not.

  • Look into Harrison, OH.  Only a 15-20 minute drive for your hubby, all highway.  Lots of new development yet still lots of space between houses and undeveloped land.  Get a lot of house for your money and the school district is very good.  Miami Whitewater Park is there and it's 15-30 minutes from all the other Hamilton County parks.

  • We also live in Harrison, OH and love it! It's a quaint little town that is growing with great potentional. Potentional for me means more shopping lol! Everyone here is very friendly and it isn't too far from the "city life" when needed. Miami Whitewater Park is also a plus with multiple swingset areas and a nice walking/jogging trail. Good Luck in finding what you are looking for.

  • I moved to
West Chester two years ago. We've been very happy. School districts throughout the greater Cincinnati areas are all having a hard
Time right now it seems but from what I've researched Lakota is still a good district. Also you may want to look at Deerfield township. It's a bit further east but you get mason schools. Parks are abundant throughout. My favorites are cottell in Deerfield, ft liberty in liberty township And Beckett but really there are so many everywhere you can't go wrong in any of these areas.

I don't know what Fairfield schools are like but you can get a good home for a good price there too.
If you need a realtor I'm happy to recommend ours.

We moved here from Louisville Kentucky and we are still adjusting to all the differences. Haha!!
