Freaking out a little...

Hey ladies! So I just found out I'm 8 weeks with baby 2! Due Feb 25th and super shocked since my husband and I were not trying at all! I went to the doc earlier this week and baby looked good and had a heartbeat of 140.

I am still freaking out over this pregnancy. I was so relaxed for my first and never had one single doubt but this time I'm so worried I'm going to miscarry or something is going to go wrong! I don't know why I'm so worked up and worried but has anyone else gone through this? I'm hoping after I see the baby and hear the heartbeat again next week ill feel better! I wish I had a heartbeat monitor at home lol!

Congrats!!! It's normal to be worried!! You prob feel  that way because you weren't expecting it, and you're just still letting it sink in?   Either way, sending many hugs, and hoping all goes great! When is your appt?

My next appt is the 31st! I cannot wait! I'm really considering buying a fetal monitor right now to make me feel better lol!

I wouldn't do that just yet.  It's still early, so it might make you even more worried if you couldn't find the heartbeat at home.  I speak from personal experience.    Congrats!

This. I got my doppler yesterday and tried last night to find ababy and couldn't. (I looked uo YouTube videos and apparently I was doing it wrong) but it still didn't make me happy.

And this is #2 for me too and I'm irrationally worried about losing it. I don't know why. It wasn't a total surprise as we were trying, but I thought it would take a lot longer than it did.

Thank you all so much! I'm still a worried mess! I hate that there's 2 weeks between appointments because I get so anxious! I thought maybe the at home Doppler would help! I did see that some are made for after 11 weeks but they make more sensitive ones that are for 7 weeks

I know how you feel. I don't remember having a single doubt with my first, no crazy or irrational worries. But this time, I worry about EVERYTHING. Even things that make no sense to worry about, especially since I've never had a m/c or complications during my pregnancy. I think it's because now that we've been through it once before, we are more aware of the things that CAN go wrong, and the things that other ppl worry about. At least that's what I think it is. All I know is DH is getting really annoyed at me for freaking out about everything constantly. GL and congrats to you!! Hope everything goes smoothly and try not to worry...even though it is easier said than done
